- No high-pressure sales. You see documented findings and decide — if your system looks good, we say so.
- Transparent pricing. Every number, including the 12-month commitment, is printed right next to the offer.
- Inspect first, always. A UV light is never a substitute for cleaning a dirty system — we check before we install.

Why Florida AC Systems Need Attention
No scare stories — just how the math works here. Heat, humidity, and near-continuous runtime make Southwest Florida one of the hardest places in the country to be an air conditioner:
A cooling season that barely ends
Sarasota-area systems run most of the year. Components that get a winter break up north simply don’t get one here — wear accumulates on a Florida schedule.
Humidity working around the clock
Every hour of cooling pulls moisture out of the air and condenses it at the evaporator coil. That moisture has to drain away perfectly, every day, for years.
Wet surfaces, warm cabinet
A damp coil inside a warm, dark air handler is exactly the environment where moisture lingers and biological buildup can get started over time.
Drain lines that clog quietly
Condensate drains fail silently until water shows up where it shouldn’t. In Florida homes, a routine drain check is one of the cheapest protective habits that exists.
Small issues become August emergencies
Restricted airflow, a struggling capacitor, a dirty blower — minor findings in March become breakdowns during the hottest week of the year, when everyone’s calling for service at once.
Nobody looks until something breaks
Most AC problems announce themselves late. Scheduled inspections exist to catch them while they’re still cheap — that’s the entire premise of preventive protection.
Why We Clean First — Then Protect
Here’s something a company selling UV lights should tell you upfront: a UV light is not a substitute for cleaning an already dirty system. Shining a lamp on existing buildup doesn’t make it disappear. That’s why every InspectWise installation follows the same honest sequence:
- 1
Inspect
We document your system across 18 points — with photos where practical.
- 2
Clean if needed
If findings warrant cleaning, we show you why. Priced separately, your call.
- 3
Install UV-C
The lamp goes in at the coil — $149 member price, professionally installed.
- 4
Maintain
Two scheduled visits a year keep the system, bulb, and drain checked.
If your system is clean, we install the same day and tell you nothing else is needed. If it isn’t, you see the evidence first — cleaning services are priced separately and the decision stays yours.
The customer-favorite offer
UV-C Light, Professionally Installed — $149 Member Price
A UV-C lamp is mounted inside your air handler, positioned near the evaporator coil — the wettest surface in the system. Its job is focused and real: UV-C light helps control biological growth on the surfaces its light reaches.
What it doesn’t do also matters: it won’t clean existing buildup, filter dust, or replace maintenance. Results depend on placement, your system’s configuration, and upkeep — which is exactly why the $149 installation comes paired with a protection plan instead of being a drop-and-run sale.
- Professional installation, positioned for your specific air handler
- Member price with the Florida AC Protection Plan ($19.99/mo)
- Bulb condition checked at every scheduled visit thereafter
- Honest fit check first — if UV-C isn’t right for your setup, we tell you

We Inspect. You Decide.
The HVAC industry has a trust problem, and we built InspectWise around fixing it. Our technicians don’t work on commission-driven fear. They document.
If your system looks good…
…the report says exactly that, and the visit ends there. No invented urgency, no “while I’m here” upsells. A clean report is a good outcome for both of us — it means the plan is working.
If something needs attention…
- We document it — in plain language
- We show photos where practical
- We explain how urgent it actually is
- We lay out options with prices upfront
- You decide. That’s the whole system.
Cleaning Services — When Inspection Shows They’re Needed
Cleaning is not automatically included in the $149 installation or the plan, and we don’t recommend it automatically either. When documented findings call for it, these services are available at separate, quoted-in-advance pricing — with member discounts on qualifying work:
Coil Cleaning →
Restoring a buildup-coated evaporator coil before UV-C makes sense.
Blower Cleaning →
Caked blower wheels move less air and work harder doing it.
Air Handler & Drain →
Interior cabinet cleaning and condensate drain service.
Indoor Air Quality →
Moisture, buildup, and airflow — assessed honestly for Florida homes.

Straight Answers to Real Questions
Is $149 the total price for the UV light installation?
Yes — $149 is the member price for the UV-C light professionally installed, together with your Florida AC Protection Plan membership at $19.99/month. If the inspection finds your system needs cleaning before a UV light makes sense, that work is separate, priced in advance, and entirely your decision — we never fold surprise charges into the visit.
Is the $19.99 membership required to get the $149 installation price?
Yes. The $149 installation price is specifically the member price — it is available when you enroll in the Florida AC Protection Plan ($19.99/month, 12-month initial service agreement, $239.88/year equivalent). That pairing is the whole point: the UV light plus the twice-a-year visits that keep it, and your system, checked.
How long is the service agreement?
The initial agreement is 12 months, billed as 12 monthly payments of $19.99 — a $239.88/year equivalent. We show this everywhere the price appears, because a commitment you did not notice is not a commitment we want.
Is a UV light worth it for an AC system in Florida?
Florida is the strongest case for UV-C in the country, for a plain reason: long cooling seasons keep evaporator coils wet with condensation for most of the year, and warm, humid conditions favor moisture and biological buildup. A UV-C lamp positioned at the coil helps control biological growth on the surfaces its light reaches. It is not magic and it does not replace maintenance — results depend on placement, system configuration, and upkeep.
Should my AC be cleaned before installing a UV light?
If there is meaningful existing buildup — yes, and any installer who says otherwise is skipping a step. A UV lamp shining on a dirty coil does not make the dirt go away. Our sequence is: inspect first, clean if the findings warrant it (your call, priced separately), then install the UV-C light, then maintain it on schedule. That order is a core InspectWise principle.
What if I have two AC systems?
One plan covers one HVAC system. If you have two or more systems, tell us when you schedule — we will confirm current options and pricing for additional systems before you commit to anything.
Do you service Sarasota?
Yes — Sarasota is the center of our service area, including Gulf Gate, Arlington Park, Southgate, The Meadows, and the neighborhoods east of I-75.
